About Shot Blasting Machine

Shot Blasting of castings or MS Components to remove mill scale and rust and welding slag and prepare the surface for painting / coating. The component loaded on the fixture ( Hanger ) & the trolley is pushed manually to travel on the I beam monorail and the component is located inside the blast cabinet. The hook spinning arrangement engages, rotating the hanger. The doors is closed and the blast wheels impart high velocity media on the component thereby cleaning it from all sides. The hook spinning is clockwise for half the cycle and anticlockwise for the other half thereby ensuring thorough cleaning all over the surface.

After the completion of the cycle the clean component is made to travel out of the cabinet towards the swing frame grinder and unloaded. The next component is loaded on the other hook is passed into the cabinet to repeat the cycle.
